“Be in nature, enjoy the moment, and try to share it with the world”

- Darren Lynch

My story

I barely remember my first experiences taking photographs, but I do remember many experiences since, most of them cold, on a beach, trying to operate my hands, never mind a camera, and I remember the feeling of peace and complacence.

In my late teens I mixed with others that equally loved the outdoors, thrived on the harshness of the British country side and I became a competent hiker, navigator and adventurer.

I eventually found my way back to photography in my early 20’s and after a few years, encouraged by a group of friends who also developed a love for photography, I started taking landscape photos again.

I currently photograph my local area, some favourite home destinations (Scotland, Wales and the Lakes) and occasionally in my travels aboard.

My mission

Is to be happy, and I am most happy, cuddling my daughter… but also standing on a freezing cold beach, with amazing nature, beautiful light and holding my camera is a very happy place! It's an awesome bonus sharing that with others, in the form of images or conversation, and thats what this website stands for.

My world

I am a very lucky man, of 35 years young, with a beautiful family; my partner Kellie, my daughter Maive and a lovely dog called Ava. My partner and I were bought up on the Romney Marsh, and we are planning to move back to the Marsh soon. We are also building a large 4x4 camper van to explore the world, so expect more abroad content in the future.
